is awesome. sooo affectionate. he likes head rubs, and pretty much does all the work if you hold out your hand. he also snorts when he gets really into it. ahaha.

He's got a little chocolate face that looks very lion-ish with his ruff, and chocolate feets that want to be eaten. I am hoping that he and adair can get along. they are separated right now, until adair calms down a bit. he's been bitching at me about the new cat, but not in a severely angry way, just a "goddammit" way. been letting Grover run around the house some, he seems to really like it. Much more than his lonely room by himself. cried a bit last night, i think he's getting bored/lonely in there. i should get more toys.

thanksgiving will be spent in peoria, with justin's fam. whee

pics, or mebbe video of new kitty coming soon

Edmund Fitzgerald

In Memoriam:

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy.

With a load of iron ore - 26,000 tons more
Than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty
That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
When the gales of November came early

The ship was the pride of the American side
Coming back from some mill in Wisconson
As the big freighters go it was bigger than most
With a crew and the Captain well seasoned.

Concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms
When they left fully loaded for Cleveland
And later that night when the ships bell rang
Could it be the North Wind they'd been feeling.

The wind in the wires made a tattletale sound
And a wave broke over the railing
And every man knew, as the Captain did, too,
T'was the witch of November come stealing.

The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
When the gales of November came slashing
When afternoon came it was freezing rain
In the face of a hurricane West Wind

When supper time came the old cook came on deck
Saying fellows it's too rough to feed ya
At 7PM a main hatchway caved in
He said fellas it's been good to know ya.

The Captain wired in he had water coming in
And the good ship and crew was in peril
And later that night when his lights went out of sight
Came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes
When the words turn the minutes to hours
The searchers all say they'd have made Whitefish Bay
If they'd fifteen more miles behind her.

They might have split up or they might have capsized
They may have broke deep and took water
And all that remains is the faces and the names
Of the wives and the sons and the daughters.

Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the ruins of her ice water mansion
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams,
The islands and bays are for sportsmen.

And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
With the gales of November remembered.

In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed
In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral
The church bell chimed, 'til it rang 29 times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they say, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

copy paste the first return on urban dictionary for:

1. your name: Meg
a sexy girl who is in love with the hot man who says heh
are you horny for some meg loving?

2. your age: 33
A code-word for weed that can be used anywhere without anyone knowing what you're actually talking about. It's an evolution of the 1337 spelling for weed - 'w33d' The 33 was then taken from the middle of the word and is used on its own. Comes straight out of Caterham! Brap brap!
'Dude, are we gonna get 33 for this weekend??'
'Yes man! I've got 33 - let's get blitzed!'

3. a friend: Kelly
the coolest person you will ever meet. may be irish or canadian but who the fuck cares cause canadians are pretty fucking sweet
Person 1:yo its kelly, she's awesome brah.
Person 2: yeah i know man. she's from canada!

4. what should you be doing: working
A term to describe the tedious and boring indentured servitude that most people are forced to endure to get money. Generally, not a pleasant experience.
"No, I can't come to the party tonight. I'm working late."

5. favorite color: green
yes... it is most definitely referring to the marijuana... and also, upon occassion, any substance with similar uses. too, properly, of course, it is a golfing term, but that;s really not very much fun, now is it?
'yo, where da green at?'

6. home town: Milan
(n) Intelligent, Good flow, a person that knows what to say and when to say it, life of the party. A man that attracts anyone and everyone.
Oh snap, that dude over there is such a Milan! I so would like to have him tonight!

7. month you were born: April
derived from a month, used by parents who lacked creativity at the time of their daughters arrival
'gee, i just gave birth, what month is it again?... April you say..'

vb. to sex someone up

one of my kitties is missing.
the landlady had a contractor working on the plumbing upstairs, and he must have left the door open. Galen ran out, probably freaked out and bolted, as he's dumb and skittish and wily. we've got signs up all over the neighborhood, and the neighbors are keeping their eyes open. he's also chipped so that's of some comfort. i just want him to come home, the poor sweet thing. i'm so worried.
